A Natural Way to Enhance your Health

Rick and I have been using essential oils for several years and have grown to love the many benefits they offer. High quality essential oils are concentrated plant extracts and have been used for millennia for various healing and wellness rituals and treatments.

What we have learned is each specific oil and blend can contribute to a sense of ease , and help us in many different ways. Some essential oils are wonderful for cleaning and disinfecting, while others can act as toxin-free insecticides for our plants, help improve the health of our skin, promote optimal cellular health, maintain healthy lung function and more.

One major benefit of essential oils is how they can provide comfort and ease to our body when we enter cold and flu seasons. And when we are not feeling under the weather essential oils give provide us addition benefits that we will tell you about.

Prioritizing our health during seasons where illness is more prevalent, essential oils allow us to introduce more ways to support our bodies to self-repair naturally.

We want to share our new product line of individual essential oils with you in hopes that it would enhance your life and contribute to your overall health and wellness.

Mantra Essential Oils by MyDailyChoice / HempWorx

HempWorx recently launched our Mantra brand of essential oils. A mantra is an affirmation that can motivate and inspire us to be our best selves, affirming the way we want to live our lives in the most powerful and peaceful way, with health and abundance. So when we used these essential oils for the first time, we knew Mantra was the perfect name for them.

The scents of each Mantra individual essential oil and blend differ, and their scents can help lift your mood and make you feel more at peace. We’ve discovered not all essential oils are the same. The process in how the oil are extracted and the purity of the oils is vitally important. So we are proud to tell you each one of the Mantra essential oils and blends is tested with gas chromatography and mass spectrometry to ensure the highest quality and purity of the oils.

We currently offer seven different individual essential oils: Lavender, Clary Sage, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Lemon, and Frankincense.

Lavender Oil

Lavender oil is known for its soothing properties. It is a must-have for every home due to its versatility. It has cleansing properties, is soothing to the skin and provides a relaxing and calming aroma. Once you feel relaxed and comforted, it can be easier to drift off to sleep.

One way I love using lavender oil is with my Epsom salt baths before bedtime. It’s the perfect way to wind down and destress from my day. Sometimes I even put a drop on my pillow before bed.

Another way I use lavender oil is in a roller bottle I keep in my handbag.  I blended lavender oil with fractionated coconut oil (to dilute the oil enough to put directly on my skin).  When I am out of the house, I roll it on the inside of my wrists to feel calm, and on my temples if I begin to feel head discomfort.

Clary Sage Oil

Clary Sage has been known for its beneficial properties for thousands of years. It is known to help purify our skin, and can be soothing when experiencing hormonal imbalances. It has a calm and energizing aroma, and can enhance your relaxation routine.

Clary Sage can also be blended with many other oils in your diffuser.  It blends well with Lavender oil, citrus oils and Frankincense oil.

Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil is a favorite of mine.  Its aroma can be described as cool, fresh and invigorating. I keep peppermint oil with me often, as it has helped me when I am feeling sick to my stomach, and has helped ease head discomfort at times.

We also enjoy dropping a few drops of peppermint into our hot tea at night after dinner, to help promote healthy digestion.

Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus oil has many cleansing properties, which can be a useful and non-toxic tool as we focus on cleaning and disinfecting. Eucalyptus may reduce the appearance of oily skin and is sometimes used in skin cleansers. And it contains deodorant properties that may help with household odors when diffused.

Its aroma is minty, clean, refreshing and sharp. If you put a few drops in your shower and bath, it may help your nasal passageways feel clear, and bring relief from sinus discomfort.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree oil is one of the most widely used and researched essential oils. It has numerous cleansing benefits and can help neutralize odors. It can help in reducing the appearance of skin blemishes. And it can be used with coconut oil pulling in the mornings to support healthy gums and a fresh, clean mouth.

Tea Tree oil, also called Melaleuca Oil, has been used on the skin for facials as it helps reduce inflammation and redness of the skin. Whenever I get my eyebrows threaded or waxed, I use Tea Tree oil as it is calming to my skin, and for me, it seems to reduce the likelihood of a blemish developing.

Its aroma is minty, clean, refreshing and sharp. If you put a few drops in your shower and bath, it may help your nasal passageways feel clear, and bring relief from sinus discomfort.

Tea Tree is one of the most widely used and researched essential oils. It has numerous cleansing benefits and can help neutralize odors. It reduces the appearance of blemishes and promotes a healthy glow. As I was researching this, I learned it even helps enhance the appearance and growth of your nails (I am excited to try it for my nails).

An article from Johns Hopkins says this the Tea Tree essential oil was used by Australia’s aboriginal people for wound healing, and that today, it’s commonly used for acne, athlete’s foot and insect bites. (https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/aromatherapy-do-essential-oils-really-work) Its aroma is described as sharp, earthy, herbaceous, and refreshing.

Lemon Oil

Lemon oil is great for cleansing the air as well as giving your system a tool for cleansing internal impurities. And many people use citrus oils as a mood booster (I am one of them!).

Put a few drops of lemon oil in your water and it will provide a gentle detox to your system. Diffuse a few drops of lemon in your house and it will has a purifying effect to the air and give a fresh, zesty aroma.

Lemon oil can has been known to also reduce the appearance of acne, and is great for beautifying skin topically.

.

Frankincense Oil

Frankincense oil is one of my absolute favorites, and has been used for thousands of years and has incredible benefits for one’s health. It has become popular for promoting healthy looking skin, by reducing acne and scarring. It is generally quite expensive to buy a high quality Frankincense oil, so I am especially excited that we are able to offer it at a very affordable price.

I found an article at GoodHouseKeeping.com where a bio alchemist was interviewed, and she said “It’s been used as a meditation aid for millennia and is reputed for its ability to calm, and to slow and steady the breath while easing the mind.” I don’t know about you, but I am for anything that can help with easing the mind right now!

You might want to look over this study published on pubmed.gov where they found Frankincense appears to help with joint discomfort and stiffness, and helps support cartilage and joint function.

It can be used in a bath with a few drops of it into the water, or added into your diffuser. It a powerful essential oil, so you only need a couple of drops at a time. And it can be blended with many other essential oils for a lovely scent. Frankincense oil creates a sweet, and spicy aroma.

How Essential Oils Work

At WebMD, we have read that scientists think essential oils work by sending chemical messages to parts of the brain that affect mood and emotion.

We love our oils and are so pleased to be able to share them with you.

We would also love to help you begin your healing journey with your purchase of oils. For more information please reach out to us or click here to learn more and shop:
