At HempWorx, we believe in 100% transparency. Because of that, we work with reputable third party testing facilities for our CBD Oil Certification and Lab Testing. This is how we make sure the CBD you receive is potent, pure and natural. We send every batch of product we produce for third party testing before picking, packing and shipping product to you.
Our CBD Oil Certification process includes the following on every batch of CBD Oil: a potency analysis, microbial analysis, heavy metal analysis, pesticide analysis and residual solvent analysis. As a result, with HempWorx CBD Oil products, you have a product you can count on each and every time.
Below we’ve posted some of the CBD certificates of analysis so you can review the actual reports we receive. If you would like to see test results on a particular batch number, you can actually enter it right into our system under the Documentation Section on this page and see the reports for your specific product.
Microbial Analysis
First, our CBD Oil Certification process includes testing to ensure our products do not contain foreign matter or ash. Additionally, we test to ensure our product does not contain yeast, mold or aflatoxins.
CBD Potency / Cannabinoid Analysis:
Next, we test for potency to make sure of the exact amount of cannabinoids in each. Our CBD Oil Certification process includes testing for the amount of each cannabinoid. We test for CBD, THC, CBG, CBC, CBN, THCA, and more. In addition, we test the ratio of CBD to THC.
And we test our CBD Dog Treats for CBD, CBG, CBDV, THCV, CBDA, CBGA, CBN, THC, D8-THC, THC-A. Plus, we test for total cannabinoids per treat.
Heavy Metal Analysis
Then, we do a heavy metal analysis test to ensure our products do not contain arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury. It’s important to limit our exposure to heavy metals, and this is one way HempWorx can help.
Pesticide Analysis
We also test for pesticide residue with our pesticide analysis. Our pesticide testing ensures you are only getting CBD that is organic at its source, and grown naturally the way nature intended.
One of the advantages of buying organic products is that they are supposed to be grown without the use of a chemical pesticides. At HempWorx, we make sure of this.
Residual Solvent Analysis
Finally, we test for residual solvents. To turn the hemp plant into an oil, a process needs to be used to extract the oil from the plant. Many companies use harsh chemicals for the extraction process. We don’t use any solvents during the method of CO2 extraction we use.
The residual solvent analysis is performed to verify that our methods of extraction are pure and accurate as stated. As part of this process, we test to ensure there is no trace of hexanes, acetone, ethanol or isopropyl alcohol.
More on our Extraction Method
We use a “green” extraction method utilizing CO2. This method leaves behind no toxins, heavy metals or chemicals. We also use this process because it does not degrade the final product in any way. The CO2 extraction process allows us to extract the pure and naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and essential oils.
CO2 is safe to use, and is found in the air we breathe.
